2 Dead, Others Injured In Fire Outbreak At Korle-bu

A fire outbreak has reportedly claimed 2 lives with others injured as well at the Korle Bu Police Barracks yesterday, April 27, 2022, around 10:30 pm.

The reportedly 2 dead people are Sargent Antwi, who is a resident Police officer and a nursing mother together with the child’s grandmother.

They were trapped in the fire leading to their death with the building also destroyed as it had a wooden extension.

The week-old nursing child and a three-year-old child are surviving victims who have incurred some injuries.

Accordingly, the National Fire Service is yet to establish the root cause of this tragic fire outbreak.
