Accra Folks Are Busy Building The Nation, No One Has Time To Watch The Black Stars – Bongo Ideas Shades People Of Kumasi

There have been a lot of complaints about the game between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Liberian senior soccer team, as the stadium was empty and fans didn’t show up as expected.

This sparked a lot of debate on the internet, with a lot of people saying it wouldn’t have been so if the match was played at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium in Kumasi.

However, controversial social media critic Albert Hyde, popularly known as Bongo Ideas, has opined through his official Twitter page that with the people in Accra, they are busy building a stadium and that people cannot expect them to fill a stadium on a Tuesday at 4 p.m. when the people of Kumasi have no work, which is why they fill up a stadium.

He wrote:

Kumasi folks watch Black Stars in numbers cos they mostly bored & jobless; in Accra we busy building the nation! Nobody got time, chaley!
