Ghanaian music producer, Appiah Dankwah best known as Appietus has paid heed to his trainer Fred Kyei Mensah after he ordered him to apologize to the lengendary Zapp Mallet.

Sarkodie mentioned Zapp Mallet among some best producers in Ghana to participate in a virtual challenge tag #behindthehits.

Zapp Mallet cautioned Sarkodie to stop comparing him to others and show respect to him, Appietus jumped into the defense of Sarkodie and asked Zapp to return all the awards he’s won if he doesn’t want to be compared.

Another veteran music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah aka Fredyma who trained Appietus has    called him to order.

In a long letter sighted by goonlinegh.com on Facebook, Fredyma was not happy about how his trainee Appietus casted insinuations on his colleagues. Because according to him that was not how he trained Appietus to speak or cast insinuations on his colleagues and the elderly.

Respectfully Appietus Appiah Dankwah, this is not the way I trained you guys to speak or cast insinuations on your colleagues especially when the person is older in age and has experience, way ahead of you.

Yes, you may have all the hits previously, gotten all the accolades and all the awards, never forget where you came from.

Fredyma lamented

After a careful observation, Appietus took his trainer’s orders into consideration and he apologized to Zapp Mallet.

According to the famous music producer, he respect Zapp Mallet any day anytime and he’s a living legend and there’s no doubt about that.

Fred Kyei Mensah Boss I’ve seen ur post #BehindDaHitz is hosted by Sarkodie to give the opportunity to music producers to showcase Ghana and the world our works so that the youth of today will know what we did back then, Myself n JQ were the first to start in Gh where we played back to back hits from our catalogs, Sarkodie is equally a young guy compared to my age n experience in this industry but me n JQ though it was a nice idea to do a face off on instalive to showcase our talents, if Zapp Mallet say’s Sarkodie is being disrespectful then indirectly he wants to say me n JQ don’t respect ourselves for participating in it, when all we were doing was making Ghana proud n showing the world our culture. Please what’s so disrespectful about my tweet? Did I insult him? Boss Fredyma have u seen his post? If Zapp was not interested in Sarkodie’s show he could have simply said so? But what he said was what got me to tweet that. Respect to Zapp Mallet any day anytime he’s a living legend n there’s no doubt about that, I only wanted to set the records straight but if I came across as being disrespectful then I apologize, my tweet was not out of malice 🙏🏼
