On Monday, May 15, 2023, at 7:46 a.m., the Nigerian chef broke Lata Tondon’s previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes, which she had achieved in India in 2019.

In order to complete her record-breaking 96 hours of cooking, the 27-year-old has been cooking continuously since 4 p.m. on May 11 and intends to continue cooking until 4 p.m. today.

Despite a poor Thursday start, Hilda has gained a tremendous amount of support from Nigerians and is now trending on social media.

Politicians and celebrities have called her or visited her at the Amore Gardens area, where she has been cooking, to support her. She has received many well wishes online.
