I Was Paid Ghc20K For ‘Anyday’ Music Video By Stonebwoy – Louis Appiah(NAZIR)

‘Any Day’, the 2016 hit single from the camp of Stonebwoy and the Burniton Music Group certainly got music lovers boogying and jamming, to its groovy dance rhythm.

Public excitement towards the tune, however, was literally doubled when its official animated video, featuring the popular cartoon character ‘Nazir’, of the celebrated animation series ‘Tales Of Nazir’, was released. And guess who went home smiling with a fat cheque? Louis Appiah!.

Louis Appiah, the organizational founder of Louicage Studios, and creator of ‘NAZIR’-the famous cartoon character, often embarking on funny adventures in a contemporary Ghanaian setting- did a splendid job for the ‘sobolo’ hit maker on the animated video and thus was rewarded handsomely.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Kwame Sokratis on Adwuma Adwuma (the mid-morning show) produced by Tornado Appiah on Obaatanpa Radio, the influential content creator disclosed that as payment for his job done, he received a good twenty thousand cedis (GHC20,000) from the Bhim Nation president, even though the original amount due him was ten thousand cedis.

According to the #wedosom creator, Stonebwoy was extremely fair to him as he paid double the agreed amount, having defaulted on the payment date for about two weeks.

“All I can say is he(Stonebwoy) was extremely fair to me because the amount he was supposed to pay me, I mean he didn’t even pay on the scheduled date, (cos) I think he was busy, and he reached out to me two weeks later…, I met him and he gave me a cheque of double what I charged. At that time I charged him GHC10,000.”
