Jasmine’s Pov
This jerk, he is really making it hard for me to collect the ball, I can’t let him win, no way, my dad’s voice came into my head.
“When your opponent is bouncing the ball, don’t look at your opponent just focus all your attention on the ball then snatch”my dad also likes playing basketball, I learn a little from him, and I focus on the bouncing ball then I snatch it.
“Hey” I heard him yell but it was too late, I bounce the ball then throw it into the net
“Yesssss” I heard Samuel yell, I looked at him, he was smiling then gave me a thumbs up
“Sh!t, fvck” Jack keeps cursing, I walked toward him.
“Let’s get to the deal,” I said smiling, Samuel walked toward me.
“Alright, am sorry, I won’t bother you again,” Jack said, I nodded my head, he left angrily with his gang
“Thanks, Jaz, thank you so much,” Sam said with his head down.
“It’s nothing, am hungry, let’s go to the cafeteria,” I said rubbing my stomach, he nodded and turned, I hold my bag which was around his shoulder, and he turn to me.
“I will carry it for you, it’s the least I can do to show my appreciation,” he said, I smiled
“Awwwn so cute, thanks, let’s go,” I said and held his hand, he looked at me then smile, I like him, we walked to the cafeteria, we located a seat and sat down, he went to get our order, I smiled, he came back with the food as we start eating in silence
Jayden’s Pov
I don’t know what to say again, am so so so nervous
“What about your parents,” she asked, I look at her
“They are dead” another lie
“Am sorry” she said, I looked away
“What about yours,” I asked picking on my food
“My dad is late, I live with my mom,” she said, I nodded.
She brought out her timetable
“Am having geography” yess
“Am also having geography” I said happily, she smiled.
“Let’s go then” she holds my hand, my heart is going to explode with joy, I smile as we walk to class holding hands, the class was boring, I stare at Jasmine till the teacher caught me.
“Samuel stop staring at her and focus,” he said angrily, the class roared in laughter, Jaz smiled, I smiled, and the danm class ended.
“Wait for me, I need to use the bathroom,” she said and exited, my phone rang, thank goodness she wasn’t here, if not how am I going to explain a poor guy with no parents holding the latest phone, I need to work on that, I check it’s my manager, I pick it
“Where are you Jay,” he asked
“At school why?”
“You have a show in Australia at 7 pm, just 5hours to get ready, so come now,” he said and hang up, I forgot that I have a show, gosh what are you doing to me Jasmine, I want to stay with her longer but I can’t.
“Let’s go,” she said taking her bag
“Erm Jaz, I, I, I need to go somewhere” I stammered
” Is there something wrong, “she asked, I shook my head.
“No not at all,” I said, she nodded sadly, am also sad, I don’t want to leave you Jaz but I have to, I took my bag and then walk out of the school.
Jasmine’s Pov
I feel sad because he left, I miss his company already, I wish he would stay longer, you are acting weird Jaz.
Jayden’s Pov
I sat on the plane, all I could think about is Jasmine, I miss her, I put on my headphone, I could write a song from my emotion now, I smile thinking about her, what If she later finds out I was lying to her, will she forgive me for deceiving her, my smile vanished.
“You did a great job Jay,” my manager said, I smile
“I need to go back home,” I said
“Jay, it’s late, let’s wait till tomorrow,” he said, I look at him.
“No Jasper, I need to go home now,” I said, he nodded and walk away, he came back after some minutes
“The weather is not good Jay, we have to stay till tomorrow,” he said, oh no.
