Naira Marley trends after Mohbad’s demise.

Singer and record label boss, Naira Marley is trending on the X app, formerly Twitter amid the death news of his former signee, Mohbad.

The report of the 27-year-old KPK (Ko Por Ke) crooner’s death suddenly emerged on Tuesday evening and swiftly went viral.

The report shook the online community, throwing the entire music industry as well as fans and lovers of the deceased into grief.

Mohbad had a strained relationship with his former label and the boss of Marlian Records and Naira Marley. On December 2019, Naira announced the founding of the record label during his Marlian Fest concert at Eko Hotel and Suite, Lagos State.

On the same night, he announced that he had signed four artists including Zinoleesky, Cblack, Mohbad and Fabian Blu to the record label.
