Nigeria’s Hilda Baci breaks Guinness world record for longest cooking time
The longest cooking hours record was broken by Hilda Bassey Effiong, also known as Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef.
On Monday at 7:45 a.m., Hilda smashed the previous record held by Indian chef Lata Tondon.
Tondon had prepared meals for 87 days, 4 hours, and 0 minutes.
But as of the moment this report was submitted, Hilda had been cooking for 88 hours, 19 minutes.
To cook for 96 hours is her goal.
On Monday at 5 o’clock, she will finish the job.
The chef has received a ton of support, particularly from Nigerians, local celebrities, and politicians.
